Jamie began his fine art career drawing his favorite video game characters in a sketchbook as a child. From there, his artistic interests and passion grew in leaps and bounds. This eventually culminated with fine art seminars in high school.
Upon graduating high school, Jamie decided to pursue art as a career. He went to Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, Florida to study Illustration. This is when he received his most intense instruction in painting.
After college, Jamie painted as the resident artist of Hob Nob Home in Wayne, PA. Here, Jamie spent several years creating both original and commissioned paintings full-time.
In 2011 Jamie began his first foray into creating live paintings when he landed a job as a full-time painting instructor. When Jamie’s brother got married in 2015, Jamie created his first wedding painting as a gift for the happy couple. Jamie’s years of experience in creating several live paintings a week combined perfectly the grandeur and emotion of weddings. It was at this moment that Event Painting by Jamie was born.
After a few years of offering live painting services in the Philadelphia, PA area, Event Painting by Jamie relocated to sunny Orlando, Florida. Here in Central Florida, the business has boomed. There has been so much demand for live paintings in Orlando that Jamie’s wife Amanda officially took over the administrative side of the business. As of May 2019, Amanda now serves as Event Painting by Jamie’s Event Manager.
Event Painting by Jamie has been featured in several local and national publications, including Wedding Chicks.

Before discovering wedding and event painting, Jamie explored his love for drawing, painting, and writing at an early age in his hometown outside of Philadelphia, PA. After high school, Jamie flew off to college and learned the nuances of traditional and digital media at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota, FL. Throughout the following decade, Jamie has established himself as a career illustrator, graphic designer, and fine artist.
Jamie continues to pursue his artistic passion in his current home outside Orlando, Florida.
